Instructions Station-to-Station Calls Dial in sequence: 1. 011 – The International Access Code. 2. The Country Code. 3. The City Code. 4. The local telephone number. 5. The “#” button – if using a touch-tone phone (this step saves additional time). Shore-to-Ship Calls To place a shore-to-ship call to ships equipped with satellite service, dial the appropriate country code (see below) of the ocean region in which the ship is located, plus the ship’s satellite dialing number. You may obtain the dialing number by calling the long distance operator (“00”). Operator-Assisted Calls For placing Person-to-Person, Collect, Calling Card (without a touch-tone phone), or Billing to a Third Number international calls, dial the following sequence: 1. 01 2. The Country Code. 3. The City Code. 4. The local telephone number. 5. The “#” button – if using a touch-tone phone. After your call is placed, an operator will come on the line and ask for information such as the name of the person you are calling or your Calling Card Number. Note: After dialing any international call, allow at least 45 seconds for the ringing to begin.
