Long Distance Restrictions

To protect yourself from unwanted charges and unwanted calls, you may choose to restrict certain kinds of long distance telephone calls. Call our Business Office for more information. Full-Toll Restriction Full-Toll Restriction does not allow any long distance calls to be placed from your phone. This includes calling card calls, operator calls, toll-free numbers and 900 numbers. Only local calls may be placed from your phone. No long distance calls whatsoever. Limited-Toll Restriction Limited-Toll Restriction allows long distance calls only to toll-free numbers such as 800, 844, 855, 866, 877, etc. Calling cards can be used with this service, and operator calls are allowed. 900 numbers are not allowed. 900-Number Restriction This service prevents access to 900 “pay-per-call” numbers. It does not restrict other types of long distance. The service is offered at no charge. Collect Call Blocking This service alerts long distance operators that you do not wish to accept collect calls to your phone number. We cannot guarantee that all operators will honor this restriction. This service is offered at no charge. Third-Party Call Blocking This service alerts long distance operators that you do not wish to allow a third-party to charge a long distance call to your phone number. Please be aware that this means you cannot charge a long distance call to your own phone number when you are placing the call from another phone. We cannot guarantee that all operators will honor this restriction. The service is offered at no charge.
