Lifeline Assistance Lifeline Assistance reduces an eligible customer’s monthly rate for internet service. 1. Lifeline Assistance is available to all residential customers who meet the following eligibility requirements: a. If someone in your household participates in one of these federal programs, you may be eligible for a Lifeline Program benefit: • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps; • Medicaid; • Supplemental Security Income (SSI); • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA) or Section 8; • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit; or • Tribal Programs (and liveon federally-recognized Tribal lands). b.In addition, a consumer may be eligible if his or her household income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. An eligible customer receives a $9.25 credit for internet ser- vice with a speed greater than 25/3. Exception Reminder - if 25/3 is unavailable at the subscrib- er’s location, the Lifeline benefit can be applied toward the highest performing fixed broadband residential offering avail- able, but it must be at least 4/1.

Dial 711 to access Relay Indiana. This service relays calls between a person using a text tele- phone (TTY/TDD) and users of the general telephone network in the State of Indiana. Specially trained personnel are avail- able 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to relay a call. There is no extra charge for this service. Long distance calls placed through Relay Indiana to destinations within the US will be billed at the discounted rates.
