Incorrect Directory Listings The vast majority of all directory listings are correct. But, as with any job of this size, some errors are bound to occur. If your listing in the directory is incorrect, it cannot be changed until the next edition of the directory is issued. In the meantime, we can make sure the listing is correct in directory assistance records. In some cases it is possible for calls to an incorrect number to be rerouted to the correct number. To arrange this, call your telephone business office. The number is on your phone bill and in the front of your telephone directory. Your service representative will be happy to help. Bills And Payments Bills are rendered monthly for local service in advance for a one-month period from date of bill. Long distance service is billed for a one-month period through the month preceding the date of the bill. Bills are payable no later than the 30th of each month. Payment may be made by mail or in person at our business office. When paying by check, please show your telephone num- ber on the check. This will save us time and will assure proper credit. In making a cash payment at the telephone office, it will save time if you will bring your bill to be receipted. Internet Payments Internet payments are due by the 30th of each month. Consumer Advisory For 900 Services For 900 billing disputes or inquiries, please call 877-954- 8748. You have 60 days from the date of this bill to dispute a 900 billing error. You have the right to withhold payment of the disputed 900 charges during the billing error review. No collection activity for disputed 900 charges will occur while the charges are under investigation. A er investigation, if it is determined that the disputed 900 charges are legiti- mate, the information provider may proceed with outside collections against your account for nonpayment of these charges. Your local and long distance service cannot be discon- nected for nonpayment of 900 charges. Failure to pay legitimate 900 charges may result in involuntary blocking of your access to 900 services. Voluntary blocking of access to 900 service is available upon request from your local exchange carrier. You should not be billed for Pay-Per-Call services not offered in compliance with federal laws and regulations. The enclosed consumer rights are provided under the Federal Telephone Disclosure and Dispute Resolution Act. If you orally communicate an allegation of a billing error via the above telephone number, it will be considered sufficient notification of a bill error. Service Applications, Changes And Discontinuance Applications for new service, changes and additions to existing service, and discontinuance of service shall be handled with our business office.
