Automatic Callback Automatic Callback (AC) is a call completion feature that allows a subscriber to dial an access code to initiate a call to the last directory number he/she called or a empted to call. If the called station is busy, the switch will automatically call the station back when it becomes idle. When the busy station becomes idle, the calling station receives ringing and upon answer by the calling pa y, the switch will automatically a empt to set up a call to the previously busy station. Benefits: AC offers the benefits of time savings and convenience. It saves time spent on continuous a empts to redial a busy station. Also, it eliminates the need to look up or remember the phone number during redial a empts.

dialing the feature activation code, the subscriber can now return a missed call conveniently and automatically.

To Activate: 1. Press *69. (On a rotary phone, dial 1169.) Your call will go through like a normal call. If The Line Is Busy: 1. Hang up. Your phone will keep trying the line for up to 30 minutes. 2. A special callback ring ale s you if the line becomes free. (Some phones ring normally.) 3. Li the handset to automatically place the call. Caller I.D. Calling Number Delivery (CND) allows a subscriber to view the calling pa y’s directory number and/or name prior to answering a call, if available. The calling pa y’s number and/or name, along with date and time, is sent during the initial ringing cycle and is displayed on customer-provided Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) for the duration of the call. The date and time are also displayed on the CPE, if available. Benefits: Allows the subscriber to view the directory number and/or name of the incoming call prior to answering. With this information, a subscriber can screen the incoming call in advance to determine whether he/she wishes to answer a pa icular call. As an enhanced application, businesses can use the switch calling number information to automatically retrieve the calling customer’s file via output of information onto an offline computer database at the customer’s location. To Deactivate: 1. Press *89. (On a rotary phone, dial 1189.)

To Activate: 1. Press *66. (On a rotary phone, dial 1166.)

To Deactivate: 1. Press *86. (On a rotary phone, dial 1186.)

Automatic Recall Automatic Recall (AR) is a call completion feature that allows a subscriber to dial an activation code and have a call automatically returned to the last pa y who called or a empted to call him/ her. With the use of an Expanded Announcement System, the subscriber is able to hear the directory number voiced back, unless it is marked as private, allowing the subscriber to determine if he/ she wants to return that call. This is commonly referred to as 2-level AR. To return the call, the subscriber then dials the access code and hangs up. Benefits: AR eliminates missed calls. It also eliminates the need to rush in an effo to answer a ringing telephone only to have the calling pa y hang up just as the called pa y answers. Simply by
