Primitive Camping Guide

Keep Your Team Afloat Wear Your Life Jacket

• Primitive camping is allowed at the above designated areas. • A primitive camping permit is required before camping. • A free primitive camping permit can be obtained by calling or visiting the Resource Manager’s Office located below Center Hill Dam. • Boaters that camp on land must also camp in designated areas and obtain a permit before camping. • Where toilets are not available, campers are required to have portable sanitation facilities. • Campers must remove all garbage from their campsite before they leave. • Cutting of live vegetation is prohibited.

The 6,292-acre park provides many recreational opportunities and accommodations on one of the most beautiful reservoirs in Tennessee.
