Information About Your Telephone Service

DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE

The following information will apply to most long-distance companies. TELEPHONE NUMBERS - If you do not know the telephone number, you may dial Directory Assistance in the distant city, as follows: 1+ Area Code + 555 + 1212 or 1- 411 in your area When the Directory Assistance Operator answers, give the city or town, then the name and address (if applicable) you wish to call. Write down the number for future reference. A charge for this service may apply depending on such factors as locations called to request directory assistance, number of calls made during the billing period, and other factors as set forth in the tariffs. Call the business office if further information is needed.

ERRORS IN THE DIRECTORY

Great care has been exercised in the preparation of this directory but the Telephone Company assumes no liability for damages arising from errors or omissions in the directory. In order that the directory record may contain correct listings, notification of change or errors should be given at once to the Business Office.

GUARDING AGAINST FRAUD

For your protection, new equipment and procedures enable the Telephone Company to detect and investigate fraudulent calls. State and Federal laws provide that no person shall defraud or attempt to defraud the Telephone Company of its lawful charges. Violators, upon conviction, are subject to imprisonment, fine or both.

OWNERSHIP OF TELEPHONE NUMBERS

OTHER INFO ENGLISH The ownership of all telephone numbers is vested in the Telephone Company and the Telephone Company reserves the right to change the telephone number or numbers of the customer's telephone station or stations, or the central office name associated with such number or numbers, or both, as the operation of the business may require.
