Direct Distance Dialing Rates for calls that you dial yourself are lower than calls dialed by the Operator. Charges begin when the called telephone is answered in person or by an answering system. Local and National Directory Assistance Local Directory Assistance . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Dial 4-1-1 Residential Customers may place 3 free Local Directory Assistance (4-1-1) calls per monthly billing period. After the first three free calls have been placed, additional calls will be charged $0.46 per call, regardless of whether or not a listing is found . A maximum of 3 requests may be made per each Local Directory Assistance (4-1-1) call placed. Business Customers dialing Local Directory Assistance (4-1-1) may request up to a maximum of 3 listing requests or published addresses per call. Each call will be charged $0.46 regardless of whether or not the listing is found . National Directory Assistance . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Dial 4-1-1 The charge for National Directory Assistance is $0.95 per call. You may request up to two National Directory Assistance listings each time you call. The cost is the same for both residential and business customers. There is a charge for the request even if no listing is found.

Operator-Assisted Dialing Person to person and time and charge calls require Operator Assistance. To dial using Operator Assistance within or outside of your area code, Dial 0 + Area Code + Telephone Number. Collect Calling Collect calls reverse charges to the person or business you are calling. Collect calls may either be station or person. Station collect calls are made when you wish to speak to anyone who answers the telephone. Charges begin after the called party accepts the charges. Person collect calls are made when you request a person, extension, or any specific party. Charges begin when the conversation begins. Person to Person Person to person calls are made when you request a person, extension, or any specific party. Charges begin when the conversation begins. This type of call can be billed as paid (where you are paying for the call), collect, calling card, or third number billing. Time and Charges Time and Charges may be requested through the Operator prior to the start of conversation. The Operator will call back after a call is completed and provide the call length and charges. Calling Card Calls How you dial using a calling card depends on the instructions provided by the issuer of the calling card. These instructions are usually located on the back of your card.

Toll Free Calls

Calls to telephone numbers starting with the 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 and 888 access codes are free to the calling person. • Dial 1 + Access Code (800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 or 888) + Telephone Number
