Cancel Call Waiting: Cancel Call Waiting is an addition to the Call Waiting feature. It pro- vides you with the ability to disable the Call Waiting feature for the duration of a call. How It Works: Prior to placing a call: • Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone. • Dial *70 . A confirmation tone will indicate that Call Waiting has been disabled for the duration of the call. Note: Call Waiting will be restored upon termination of the call. Call Forwarding: Call Forwarding automatically transfers your incoming calls to any specified number, local or long distance. How It Works: • Dial *72. • Listen for the dial tone, then dial the number to which you want your calls forwarded. When someone answers at the forwarded number, Call Forwarding is in effect. If you get a busy signal or no answer, forwarding can still be established by immediately repeating the above steps. If you do this within two minutes, you’ll hear two audible signals, meaning your Call Forwarding is in effect. How To Cancel: • Dial *73. • Two audible signals will confirm that Call Forwarding has been cancelled. Important! Call Forwarding will remain in effect until you cancel it. Note: Even though you’ve activated Call Forwarding, you may contin- ue to make outgoing calls as usual. You should always notify others when using your forwarding service. Three-Way Calling: Three-Way Calling makes it possible for you to talk with two people in different places at the same time. How It Works: • Get party A on the line. • Depress the cradle button for only a second. This puts party A on hold. • Wait for a dial tone, then dial party B. When B answers, you may talk privately, before including A. • Complete the three-way connection by again depressing the cradle button, which will add party A to the conversation. If you get a busy signal or no answer when calling party B, depress the cradle button to return to party A. How To Cancel: • Party A or B can disconnect by simply hanging up. You and the remaining party may continue the conversation.

Call Waiting: Call Waiting alerts you to an incoming call when you’re on the telephone. How It Works: You will hear a short signal indicating someone is trying to reach you. (If you subscribe to Caller ID, you will be able to see the number of the person trying to reach you.) A reminder tone will sound after 10 seconds if you haven’t answered the waiting call. If you wish to answer, put party A on hold by depressing the cradle button for only a second, or press the flash button on a cordless phone. This automatically connects you with party B. To put party B on hold and return to party A, depress the cradle button again. Repeating this process enables you to alternate between the two calls, each of which is private. How To Terminate: To terminate A, put B on hold and hang up. When your phone rings, B will be on the line. The same procedure terminates B.
