More About Call Forwarding Call Forwarding is in effect until you cancel it (Step 4). You can still make outgoing calls from your phone when Call Forwarding is on. Your phone may ring briefly before a call is forwarded to a second number. If you forward your calls outside of your calling area, you will be charged for any calls forwarded from your number to the distant number. For example, if you forward your calls to a distant number, the person call- ing you is charged only for the call to your number. You will be charged the rate from your number to the distant number.

Speed Calling Is there a number you call often? Or have you ever been in a hurry and can’t remember the number? Speed Calling can make calling so much easier. Instructions: Assign a code number for each telephone number on your list: Speed Call 8 – numbers from 2 through 9 Speed Call 30 – numbers from 20 through 49 2. Listen for second dial tone. Dial the Speed Calling Code you have select- ed and the full telephone number that goes with it. 3. Two beeps tell you that Speed Calling is working at that number. 4. Repeat these steps to add or change the numbers. To use Speed Calling, push the one- or two-digit code that goes with the number you want to call. To make the call go faster, push the # button. 1. Speed Call 8 – push *74 Speed Call 30 – push *75

Three-Way Calling Tired of repeating yourself several different times? Now you can talk to two people at once. Instructions: 1. Call the first person. Wait until that person picks up their phone. 2. Depress the switchhook or flash button. 3. Wait for the brief tone and then dial tone. 4. Make your second call. 5. When the second person answers, depress the switchhook or flash button. That will bring the first call on the line. 6. If the second call is busy or not, depress the switchhook or flash button twice and that will bring the first caller on the line. 7. The call ends when the callers hang up.
