Special Features For Enhanced Communications

Call Waiting Can’t get through? Is your line always busy? Call Waiting is a way of telling you someone is trying to call. Instructions: A brief tone signals that someone is calling you. A reminder tone will sound 10 seconds later. 1. When you hear a brief tone, depress and release the switchhook or flash button. This puts the second call on the line and the first call on hold. 2. To alternate between callers, depress and release the switchhook or flash but- ton. Call Waiting does not enable you to speak to both parties at once. 3. When one caller hangs up, depress the switchhook or flash button and the other caller comes on the line.

Call Forwarding Are you on the go and don’t want to miss your calls? You can forward all your calls to wherever you are going. Instructions: 1. Push *72. 2. When you hear a second dial tone, dial the number where you wish your calls to be forwarded. 3. Wait for the person to answer. If no answer, repeat steps 1 and 2 again. Two quick tones indicate Call Forwarding is in effect. 4. To restore regular service, push *73. 5. You will hear two quick tones, which tells you calls are no longer being forwarded.

Control Of Call Waiting You can disable the Call Waiting function for the duration of one call. Instructions: 1. Lift the receiver and listen for a dial tone. 2. Dial the code number *70 and Call Waiting will be disabled for one call. You will hear three bursts of dial tone, indi- cating your command has been accept- ed. This will be followed by a dial tone. 3. Dial the number you wish to call. Call Waiting has been disabled for only one outgoing call made from the current line. Call Waiting is automatically reactivated when the receiver is placed on the hook.
