Custom Calling Instructions (for customer leasing these optional services)

Call Forward Busy cont. To change the “forward to” number: 1. Turn off Call Forward Busy (see previous page). 2. Repeat steps 1-5 on previous page. Call Forward No Answer (Excluding Anderson, Jane & Pineville.) Whenever you can’t answer, forward your calls to someone who can. How it works: If you can’t get to the phone, you can be sure that your calls won’t go unanswered. You can easily change the forwarding number – even choosing how many times your phone should ring. To “turn on” the service: 1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone. 4. Dial the number of rings (from 2 to 9) to be allowed before the call is forwarded. Then, dial the number you want your calls forwarded to. 5. When the phone is answered, your Call Forward No Answer is in effect. If the line is busy, or there’s no answer: 6. Hang up. 7. Within two minutes, repeat steps 1-4 above. You’ll hear a confirmation tone to let you know your Call Forward No Answer is now working. To “turn off” the service: 1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone. 1193.) 3. Listen for the confirmation tone, and then hang up. Your Call Forward No Answer is now “off.” To change the “forward to” number: 1. Turn off Call Forward No Answer (see directions above). 2. Repeat steps 1-5 above to turn on Call Forward No Answer, entering the new “forward to” number. Notes: Dial the number exactly as if you are calling directly. For a local number, dial the 7-digit phone number. For a long dis- tance number, dial “1” plus the area code. Or, if you have Speed Calling, you may dial one of your codes instead. Call Forward Remote Access From any location – turn on, turn off or change your forwarding number. How it works: You can use a touch-tone telephone at another location to change your Call Forward on your home or business phone. * 9 WXY 3 DEF 2. Press *93. (On a rotary phone dial * 9 WXY 2 ABC 2. Press *92. (On a rotary phone, dial 1192.) 3. Listen for the dial tone.

To access your telephone’s Call Forward service remotely: 1. Lift the handset of any touch-tone phone and listen for the dial tone. 2. Dial the Call Forward access number provided by your telephone company. 3. After the line rings, listen for the special dial tone. 4. Dial your 7-digit home or business telephone number that has Call Forwarding and your Personal Identification Number (PIN). 5. Listen for the special dial tone. You are now ready to change your Call Forwarding Code.

Call Forward No Answer

Proceed with one of the three Call Forward functions: Call Forward, Call Forward Busy, or Call Forward No Answer. Selective Call Forwarding Routes important callers to an alternate phone number. Selective Call Forwarding will allow the subscriber to have certain terminating calls forwarded to a designated remote station. The activity will occur whenever a call is received from a telephone number which has been indicated on a list of numbers, referred to as the Selective Call Forwarding screening list. Terminating calls from telephone numbers which cannot be identified or have not been indicated on the list will be given standard terminating treatment. How to use: 1. Pick up the handset and listen for the dial tone. Press *63. 3. Listen for an announcement telling you whether the fea- ture is currently on or off. The recorded voice will then tell you how many (if any) numbers are currently stored on your forward list. 4. Follow the voice instructions and dial 3 to turn the fea- ture ON (if it is currently off), or turn the feature OFF (if it is currently on). To add the last caller to your forward list: To enter your “Forward-to” number: 6. The first time you turn on the service, you’ll be asked to enter the number you’d like your special calls forwarded to. From then on, the system will simply remind you of the current “forward-to” number. 7. If the current number is correct, dial 1. 8. If you wish to change the current “forward-to” number, dial 0 and then follow voice instructions. * 6 MNO 3 DEF # 0 1 # 2. 5. Press #01#.
