To clean and sharpen your garbage disposal... make ice cubes using equal parts water and vinegar. When frozen, drop them into the disposer when it is running. Follow up with a couple of slices of lemon, then rinse well.

To clean your microwave oven... put a wet dishcloth in the center of the oven. Turn the oven on high and “cook” for 30 to 40 seconds. The steam created will help loosen any hardened spills. Use the heated cloth to finish the job. Careful...it will be hot.
