WARNING:

Lewd, Lascivious or Indecent Language over the Telephone It shall be unlawful for any person to use any word or language of a lewd, lascivious or indecent character, nature or connotation over the telephone. Any person violating these provisions shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned in the county jail for a period of six months, or both. Intent to Defraud It shall be unlawful for any person to obtain or attempt to obtain, by the use of any fraudulent scheme, device, means or method, telephone or telegraph service or the transmission of a message, communication by telephone or telegraph, or over the telephone or telegraph the intent to avoid payment of the lawful price, charge or toll therefore. Any person who violates any provision of this statute is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by confinement in the county jail for not more than one year or by fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or both such fine and confinement.
