2021 Directory Photo Contest Winners This year, we asked local students from our Colchester and Good Hope elementary schools to draw pictures of what their town means to them. Our cover drawing was submitted to us by West Prairie South Elementary fourth-grader Kenzy Woods . Kenzy’s picture is of the West Prairie South Elementary and features a few of her classmates playing on the playground equipment outside the school while they enjoy a beautiful, sun-shiny day. The second-place picture was drawn by West Prairie North Elementary third-grader Adeline Tedrow (pictured on page 2) . Adeline’s drawing of Blandinsville Park shows all of the children playing and having a fun day out in the sun. West Prairie North Elementary fourth-grader Tyson Carnes drew our third-place picture, which showcases all of the things that Tyson likes to do. It shows why he loves his town so much and shows his excitement for his hometown (pictured on page 2) . We also had six wonderful photos drawn by other students that received Honorable Mention recognition this year (pictured on the inside back cover) . These pictures were submitted by Holden Coplan (4th), Cody Peters (4th), Robin Surratt (4th), and Paxtyn Ford (3rd) from West Prairie South Elementary, and Ethan Percy (3rd) and Alyvia Barkley (4th) from West Prairie North Elementary.
