Local Service Local service is furnished for the primary use of the customer and members of his firm or family. As a consumer, you have the right to expect safe, reliable and uninterrupted service and to be charged for only the amount of service you use. As your service provider, we expect you to promptly pay for the service you use. Any questions you may have should be directed to your local business office.
If you are not satisfied with the help you receive from a customer representative, ask for a supervisor. Written inquiries may also be directed to Fidelity Communications, 64 N. Clark St., Sullivan, MO 63080. If you are still not satisfied, call our consumer hotline at 1-888-779-4163. If your complaint is about credit, billing, deposits or termi- nation of service, you can ask for a personal meeting with a Fidelity representative, who is there to resolve such disputes. If you don’t resolve the dispute with the representative, you can file an informal complaint with the Missouri Public Service Commission. The Missouri Public Service Commission is the state agency that regulates Fidelity Telephone Company and other public utilities in the state. Addresses and phone numbers are:
Advertising Phone Numbers Residential phones are installed with the understanding that they will be used for normal residential purposes and not in connection with any business. Advertising residential phone numbers for business purposes will be considered sufficient cause for Fidelity to charge the business rate. Who Owns My Phone Number? Your telephone number is the property of Fidelity Telephone Company. We may change your number if it becomes advis- able for us to do so in the conduct of our business. How Can I Temporarily Stop Phone Service When I’m Out of Town? If you wish to stop your phone service, call your local cus- tomer representative. There is no charge for disconnection and charges to your bill will be stopped up to five (5) business days after you call. As an alternative, you can have your phone service temporarily suspended and services discounted (for example when going on vacation). Service can be restored on short notice for a $25 restoral fee. You Have the Right to Complain If you have a complaint about any aspect of service that you receive from Fidelity, call your customer representative, page 3. He or she will answer your questions and make an effort to resolve your problems.
