Soroptimist Pioneer Park

Located on North Maine Street, the park is dedicated to the pioneer wom en of Churchill County who showed outstanding contributions to their community. It boasts several picnic areas, BBQs, and playground equip ment and overlooks the men’s and women’s softball field.

Millennium Park

Liberty Pond

Facilities include a skateboard area, a lawn area, playground equipment, and a winding sidewalk throughout the park. It is located next to the City of Fallon Multi purpose Building on Venturacci Lane. Oats Park

Located on University property on Schurz Highway, Liberty Pond includes a fishing pond and eight acres of playing fields. Churchill County Parks and Recreation

At the corner of Williams and Maine streets, Millennium Park offers no recreational activi ties. The park’s setting provides an excellent place for lunch hours and other breaks. A kiosk displays postings for Fallon recreation and activities. Laura Mills Park

The park and picnic area includes 18 acres of playing fields, including 7 ball fields, 4 soccer fields and additional open fields. Youth and sports programs utilizing the fa cility include Babe Ruth and Little League baseball, Pop Warner football and AYSO soccer. It also offers a challenge course.

Home to the City’s outdoor swimming pool, Oats Park includes playground equipment, a large, covered picnic area, and an outdoor stage for summer concerts and other local events.

Among its highlights are a beautiful rose gar den, a community gazebo, separated shad ed picnic areas, playground equipment and a 1/4 mile paved walking track.
