Three-Way Calling (Cont.) To Set Up a Three-Way Call: 1. Depress switchhook or flash button, then listen for three beeps and a steady dial tone. (Present call is placed on hold.) 2. Dial third party’s telephone number. If busy or no answer, depress switchhook or flash button twice to reconnect first call. 3. After third party answers, depress switch hook for a three-way call. Notes: a. You may privately converse with third party as long as you wish before using switchhook to establish three-way call. b. After a three-way call is established, you may depress switchhook to drop third party at any time. Speed Calling Speed Calling allows you to call selected telephone numbers quickly by dialing an assigned code. What Speed Calling Does for You: • Eliminates the need to look up or remem ber telephone numbers. • Saves time when dialing numbers, espe cially long distance numbers. • Allows fast, accurate dialing of emergency numbers. To Set Up Speed Calling Numbers: 1. Press *74 for 1-Digit Speed Calling (codes 2 - 9), - or - Press *75 for 2-Digit Speed Calling (codes 20 - 49). 2. Listen for three beeps and a steady dial tone. 3. Enter Speed Calling code (2 - 9 or 20 - 49). 4. Enter desired telephone number, press # then listen for three beeps. 5. Hang up. To Use Speed Calling: • Press desired Speed Calling code ( 2 - 9 or 20 - 49), then press # . To Change Speed Calling Entries: • Repeat first five steps.

General Information Advanced Calling Services offer you conve nience, time savings and greater control in the use of your telephone. This guide will allow you to begin enjoying the many benefits of your advanced Calling Services. • Advanced Calling Services work only on calls made within the Advanced Calling serving area. These services are not avail able in all areas. • If you attempt to use one of your Advanced Call Services with a number outside the area served by Advanced Calling, you will hear an announcement telling you that the service cannot be used with that particu lar number. • Some of the Advanced Calling Services require you to press the * button. If you have a rotary dial phone set, dial 11 instead of the * . This only applies to the first * in the dialing sequence for a service. • Some of the Advanced Calling Services require you to program lists of phone numbers. You must set up these lists prior to using the services. Please refer to the instructions in this guide to program the lists. • For many of the Advanced Calling Services, voice instructions will guide you through the various procedures and sim plify their operation. Call Return allows you to dial a code and have a call automatically returned to the last party who called or attempted to call you. What Call Return Does for You: • Eliminates the aggravation of rushing to the phone when you’re returning from errands or in the shower only to find that the person on the other end has hung up. • Makes it easy to return calls that would normally be missed. To Use Call Return: 1. Press *69. 2. Listen for an announcement that will tell you the phone number of the party who last called you. Call Return (Last Number Redial)
