Call Forwarding Allows you to automatically forward incoming

Three-Way Calling Lets you add a third party on local or long distance calls, without operator assistance. 1. Establish a normal two-party call. 2. Depress your phone’s disconnect or “flash” button. This puts the first party on hold and gives you a dial tone. 3. Dial the number of the third party. When they answer, depress the button again, and all three parties are connected. To leave Three-Way Calling: 1. Depressing your phone’s disconnect or “flash” button once will drop the third party from the call. Hanging up will end the call. Caller ID Displays the name or telephone number of the person calling you. Use of this feature requires purchase of a telephone with a display feature or a separate Caller ID display box. Occasionally, our Customer Service Department receives calls that Caller ID boxes are not working properly. There can be a number of reasons for this: 1. You have not purchased the Caller ID feature. 2. The batteries in your Caller ID box need to be replaced. 3. The caller has elected to block their per sonal information from being displayed. 4. The area from which you are receiving a call does not support Caller ID. 5. Villages within BBTC’s service area are able to receive Caller ID information on local calls only. If you are having difficulty getting Caller ID to work try the following: 1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone. Press *65 and hang up the receiver. If you are still having difficulty using this feature, please call our Business Office for assistance.

1. Lift receiver and listen for dial tone. 2. Dial *72 . Wait for dial tone to return. 3. Dial the directory number where calls are to be forwarded. When your call is answered, the forwarding is activated. If the called number is not answered, call the number again, let it ring, then hang up and Call Forwarding will be activated. To cancel Call Forwarding: 1. Lift the receiver. You will hear Feature Active “stutter” tone. 2. Dial *73 . You will hear confirmation “stutter” tone, followed by normal dial tone. Call Forwarding is cancelled. Call Waiting Alerts you that someone else is trying to call you. Allows you to hold your first call and answer the second. 1. During a normal call, you will hear a Call Waiting tone (single “beep”, repeated every 10 seconds) to indicate that another caller is trying to reach you. 2. Depressing the disconnect or “flash” button on your phone will put the first call on hold and connect you with the second call. Depressing the disconnect or “flash” button again will return you to the first call. 3. To disable Call Waiting before placing an important call that you don’t want to be interrupted, dial *70 , wait for a new dial tone, then complete your call. 4. To disable Call Waiting after a call is in progress, depress the disconnect or “flash” button, dial *70 , then depress the button again to return to the call.
