Per-Call Blocking This feature allows you to block the display of your number on the next call you dial. There is
Anonymous Call Rejection Anonymous Call Rejection works with Caller ID. It allows you to reject an incoming call if the caller has blocked their telephone number from being displayed. 1. Lift receiver and listen for dial tone. 2. Dial *77 to turn feature on (reject blocked calls) or *87 to turn off (receive blocked calls). 3. Listen for confirmation “stutter” tone. Voice Mail Never miss another important call! Voice Mail can receive messages when your line is busy or you’re unavailable, then notify you with a “stutter” tone that you have messages. Available in the 246 exchange only. To set up your Voice Mail: 1. Dial *321 from your home phone. 2. While the greeting is playing, press * followed by the temporary security code 2222. 3. Change the temporary security code to a private one by pressing 8 for User Options, then 7 to set the new security code. The new code must be 4 digits. 4. Change other features: • 4-Record Greeting • 6-Record Name 5. Press 9 to exit. To check your Voice Mail: From home: 1. Dial *321 . 2. While greeting is playing, press * followed by your private security code. 3. Press 7 to play your messages. From another phone: 1. Dial your home phone number. 2. While greeting is playing, press * followed by your private security code. 3. Press 7 to play your messages.

1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone. 2. Press *67 . You will hear a secondary dial tone. Now dial your call. 3. Your number will be blocked for that call only.
All-Call Blocking (Call Blocking Per-Line)
This feature blocks the display of your number on all calls you make. There is no charge for this feature, but you must call BBTC to have it added to your line. To disable All-Call Blocking on a per-call basis: 1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone. 2. Press *82 . You will hear a secondary dial tone. Now dial your call. 3. The display of your number to the person called will appear for that call only. The All-Call Blocking feature is provided at no charge. However, if you call BBTC to subsequently request removal or re-installation of All-Call Blocking you will be charged a service order charge. Note: If you have the All-Call Blocking feature on your line, and you want to call someone locally who has subscribed to Anonymous Call Rejection, you will need to hang up and dial *82 so that your call will be accepted. Otherwise, you cannot call these subscribers. If you have Per-Call Blocking do not dial *67 when calling people with Anonymous Call Rejection.
