How to Use 911 In the event of an emergency, you should be familiar with the 911 emergency service.

1) Stay Calm: The emergency service dispatchers are professionals and can help you immediately if information is given to them quickly and clearly. 2) In Case of Health Emergency: Stay on the line as long as possible. 911 computers will trace your call, and address information will be given to the dispatcher. 3) In Case of Fire: Evacuate the premises immediately, then call 911 from the closest available telephone. DO NOT FORGET to give the address of the fire.

4) Special Information: You may file special instructions or personal health information to be used in an emergency. Please call a Cus tomer Service Representative at 740-772-8331 to file special in structions. Do not call 911 unless it is an emergency. 5) IF YOU DIAL 911 BY ACCIDENT: DO NOT HANG UP! It is important that you tell the dispatcher that you have reached 911 in error.
