Calling Features

When Someone Calls When your service is turned ON, callers who are on your rejection list will hear an announcement that your number is not accepting calls at this time. You may press 1 , 0 , # or * at any time rather than wait for voice instructions. The list you create here is separate from any other lists you may be using for Selective Call Forwarding, Selective Call Acceptance, Distinctive Ringing/ Call Waiting and similar services. Need someone to find you? SimRing offers anytime, anyplace “Find Me” service for busy people that have multiple directory numbers (office, home, mobile). You can set up your phone to ring to four other numbers all at one time. The first SimRing member to answer is connected to the calling party and all other members are dropped. This feature is easy to turn on and off. Dial *78 from the line that has the SimRing fea- ture assigned. A recording will tell you if the service is off or on and then give the following options. Selective Call Rejection Lets unwanted callers know that you are not accepting their calls Selective Call Rejection routes unwanted calls to an announcement that you are not taking calls right now. Perhaps it’s a persistent caller or salesperson who won’t take “No!” for an answer. With Selective Call Rejection, once you’ve given your telephone the numbers of unwelcome callers, they get the message. How To Use Selective Call Rejection 1. Pick up the handset and listen for the dial tone. 2. Press *60 . (On a rotary phone, dial 1160.) A recording will tell you if the service is off or on and then give the following options. Dial 0 for instructions.

• Dial # to add an entry. • Dial * to delete an entry. • Dial 1 to hear the entries on the list. • Dial 3 to turn the service off or on.
