Brandenburg Telephone Company has been a proud member of these communities since 1950. We celebrated our 70th year of operation during 2020. Virtually all of our staff is made up of people who live in our communities. Our dedicated staff works every day to provide the best communications services available anywhere.

Since our founding, the Company’s goal has been to provide outstanding commu- nications services, unmatched customer service and state-of-the-art technology to support an outstanding quality of life for this portion of rural Kentucky. The majority of our service area utilizes fiber optic technology, and we work every day to deploy fiber to the rest of the service area. During the last couple of years, the value and necessity of robust technology has become apparent. Our commitment to our home area has allowed us to expedi- tiously meet the rapidly-changing technological needs of our communities – including, but not limited to, partnering with local school districts to ensure students have access to technology necessary to support their education. Having state-of-the-art technologies available has allowed our communities to better adapt to unexpected situations. It is our continuing pledge to focus on these communities and to do our part to make this one of the very best places to live and work.
