Amador City – Try the Historic District for its restaurants, lodg ing and 24 historic buildings in their original state. The Mine House Inn is a must. Drytown: Antique Shops abound, as do historic sites and a charming café. Fiddletown: Rest from your historic town tour at the Town Park. Lake Camanche: Boating, fishing, swimming and other sunny day adventures. Jackson: Over 20 vintage homes are visible on a walking tour. Amador County Museum is well worth the time, with its Mother Lode memorabilia. Martell: Historic sites and forest products all around, and afterward, a picnic at Mammoth Kennedy Mine Tailing Wheels. Plymouth: Wineries will keep you busy here, as will historic sites. Wineries include Stony Vineyards, TKC Vineyards, Amador Foothill Winery, Charles Spinetta Winery, Vino Noceto, Montevina, Deaver, Domaine De La Terre Rouge/Easton, Karly, Renwood Santino, Shenandoah, Sobon, and Young’s Vineyard. Ione: Greenstone Winery, Jackson Valley Vineyards and Argonaut. Sutter Creek: More than 60 historical places, plus plenty of antique shops and dining areas. The Old Eureka Mine gallus frame is still there, and gold mining continues today.
