An 1859 vintage home shows Mother Lode memorabilia. Highlights of the exhib its are scale models of the North Star Mine stamp mill, the Kennedy Mine Tailing Wheels, a 15-minute audio-visual show, 15 exhibit rooms, and a full-scale model of a narrow gauge railroad locomotive. Patterned after those that opened up in the west, it “starred” in movies and TV shows from 1950 on. Located in Jackson.
